Kaitlyn McDonald has been dancing since the age of four and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, jazz funk, English country dancing, acrobatics, musical theater, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and African modern. Her skills have taken her through competitive dancing, multiple dance conventions with dancers such as Fik-Shun and Autumn Miller, and dancing as a current member of Powell’s Dance Company at Powell Performing Arts. Her plans for the future are to continue dancing as long as possible and open a dance studio with a degree in business. With hopes of impacting others through the art of dance, she teaches from the base of emotional connection and supports dancers of all backgrounds. In addition to dancing, she has published two books and has a certificate in ESL, but ultimately, dance has stolen her heart and she hopes it steals the hearts of others.
